32 Weeks

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that I am pregnant. Here is my 32 week picture. We are very excited for our little boy to get here soon. I have 2 more posts before I am all caught up. I need to get the girls birthday pictures from my wonderful photographer sister-in-law first though.

Halloween!

We had a great time trick or treating with girls. They loved eating their candy most of all. I couldn't get a good picture of both of them together, so sorry about the quality of some of the pictures. If one girl wasn't moving the other was.

Pumkin Walk

Fall Farm Fun

We went to the American West Heritage Center with the girls right after Lance got home. We had a lot of fun playing with all of their activities and getting lost in the corn maze.

The Beach

The beach was a lot of fun. The water was way to cold to swim in, but the girls loved playing in the sand and playing with the sea weeds. We managed to go on such a nice day that I even got a sunburn. Who would of thought in Seattle.

Seattle Aquarium

The Aquarium was really neat. It had a lot of sea life native to the Seattle area. They even had a touching pond area where we touched anemonies and sea cucumbers. The girls were afraid to touch anything at first, but after a little help from me and Gran they decided they liked it. The girls also got thier faces painted by a charity group that was at the aquarium doing a fundraiser. All three of us really like the aquarium.

Around Seattle

These pictures are from different trips down into the city. There's the Space needle, painted mazes, Pike's Market, and a park that surrounds the space needle and the museums. (Pregnancy brain again. I can't remember the park's name, sorry.)

Harbor Locks Cruise

One of the days we were in Seattle we went downtown and went on the Locks cruise. A bus took us to a lake in the middle of the city where we boarded a boat. The boat took us down the river through the locks and out into the harbor. It was absolutley beautiful and we managed it on warm day. The girls did really well on the boat and we got to see some amazing views.

Seattle Zoo

There are actually two zoos in the Seattle area. We only went to one of them. The girls had fun looking at all of the animals. One of the pics in the collage isn't actually from the zoo. It is from the Rainforest Cafe. Can you tell which one it is?

First of the Seattle Pictures

This is the lake by my parent's house. I can't remember the name of it (pregnancy brain). It was beautiful and probably one of my favorite spots there.

Science Museum

The Seattle Temple

We stopped at the temple in Seattle one of the days that I was there. Eva fell asleep and we didn't want to wake her, so my mom stayed in the car while Elizabeth and I walked around. It was a fun experience and I couldn't believe all of the questions Elizabeth had about the temple as we walked around.

Ohio Pictures

We have had a crazy and busy summer. Lance was away for 4 months, so it was just me and the girls. We went to Ohio for a week with Lance's family, to Seattle for 3 weeks to visit my parents, and my mom came here to visit and help with girls quite a bit. Here are the pics from Ohio. I'll try to get the others done soon.

Family Pic

I know this is from June, but at least I am finally posting it. Thanks Clarissa for taking it!

Life!

My aunt died after battling with brain cancer for over a year on the 7th. Her passing has really put things in perspective for me. What is really important? All of us have an allotted amount of time on this Earth. What am I going to do with that time? It makes me want to dig deeper into the gospel and to try to be a better person. It makes me want to spend a lot more time with those I love because we don't know how long each of us has.
My aunt, Nancy, was a teacher of music, but she taught me many things. She even took the opportunity to teach Elizabeth even though she was so sick that she couldn't walk. When I went to visit her I took Elizabeth and she saw some dolls on my aunt's piano. I told Elizabeth that they were dolls from Korea and my aunt explained to Elizabeth that Korea was a country like the United States. I didn't even think to explain that to her. Nancy makes me want to be a better teacher for my daughters. We learn so much from our mothers and I want to make sure that I take the time to explain and teach, even when I don't feel like it. Thanks for teaching me that lesson Nancy. We will miss you.

WOW! A long time!

I can't believe that it has been almost a year since I have posted anything. Shame on me! I don't have any pictures for you all because our computer broke and we had to buy a new one. When I get the pictures from our old one transferred over I'll try to get some posted. I can't promise how quickly that will happen owing to my history with posting. (hee hee)
Elizabeth turned three in October. She is so big! I can understand most everything she says to me now and she is all over the place. She loves to sing and dance and play with Eva. She thinks that she is the little mommy and can frequently be heard telling Eva what to do and even tries to put her in time out. She is her own little person and want to do everything herself. She definitely tests my boundaries, but for the most part she is very sweet. It is a constant challenge to get her to eat. I am at my wits end with it. She has set things that she will eat and if I give her anything new it is a struggle to get her to try it. If she does try it she gags on it. The other day it was so bad that she actually threw up. What do I do? Any advice would be great!
Eva is 21 months old now. I can't believe she is almost two. She is talking a lot and I can understand quite a bit of it now. She is not one to be pushed around. I think it is a second child thing. She doesn't let Elizabeth or anyone else bully her. She is kind of mischievous. She likes to grab the toy that Elizabeth is playing with and run off giggling as Elizabeth sits there and cries. I have a hard time not laughing when she does that. Eva absolutely loves her Daddy. She screams and runs to him whenever he comes home. (In fact both of my girls are daddy's girls.)
Lance is doing well at Walgreen's and with the National Guard. He has more training that he has to go do for the Army. He will be gone to the Dominican Republic for 2 weeks in May then off to Ft. Lee, Virginia for 4 months in June. I find it interesting that Lance will be at the same military base that my grandfather did his basic and AIT training for the Korean War at. I am going to miss him so much. It is going to be a lonesome summer.
I am doing really well. My goal of losing weight is coming along nicely. I'm half way to my goal. I've lost 25.6 lbs. I found a program called Live the Life and it has really helped me get control of my eating and overall health. I highly recommend it. Well I can't think of anymore updates so, Bye!
