Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

Elizabeth's Birthday was on October 13th. She turned one and I can't believe it. She is getting so big. This last year has flown by. Lance and I love her more than ever. Her birthday was a lot of fun and she really liked her cake. She ate and ate and ate and ate. We love you Elizabeth!

HURRICANE IKE!

HURRICANE IKE!

Well, I have been through a hurricane and I hope it is the last! We were lucky in regards to damages and power. We got our power back two days after the Ike passed through and there were a few trees and lamp posts down in our apartment complex but that was it. It was really scary going through it though and I hope I never have to go through another one. Here are some pics of the damage at our apartment.

She's Standing!!!

Elizabeth can stand on her own now. It is so cute I can hardly stand it. On September 17th, 2008 she took her first four steps by herself. I can't believe she is getting so big. She will be one on October 13th. WOW!

First Time at the Beach!

Lance and I finally went to the beach this summer. It was Elizabeth's first time to a beach ever and Lance's first time to the Gulf of Mexico. We had a lot of fun. Elizabeth loved everything. We had our hands full trying to keep up with her, from trying to not let her eat to much sand to trying to stop her from crawling out into the ocean. She loved the waves and would make a beeline for deeper water, even when the waves would splash in her face she would keep going. It was funny, but scary too. She also enjoyed destroying the sand castle I made. I hope you like the pics!
